About to ride my horse for the first time in 3yrs!

She's bred two foals since the last time I was on her in feb 2008. I'm so excited! She's getting her saddle fitted today and I've got a fantastic loan home lined up for her once she's back in work. Can't wait to get on!

Thanks for your lovely comments. Well, she was a total star! Surprisingly supple and very happy! And I apparently had a massive grin on my face. Chuffed to bits just now. x

I had my saddle stolen in the time that my mare has been a mum

2 years it was since I rode her and just decided to hop on bareback for a toddle down the lane Made me smile inside
