Apologies in advance for even more hoof questions (trying to learn as much as I can!)

I did a cleantrax soak yesterday on horsey’s front feet, the worst one for a bit longer.

I’ve got him in from the field today and he’s got a ‘cut’ right on the coronet band on the back of the hoof with seedy toe/thrush, also the one he’s been less willing to heel load.. Was wondering if this ‘cut’ might be an abscess that came through last night after the cleantrax soak?

He also really doesn’t want me picking this foot up today!

Just wondering what people’s thoughts were and how I should go about treating it? TIA!

You could be right, and he may be throwing another abscess. Keep it clean, allow him to move around, I would turn my horse out as usual. Let your trimmer/farrier have a look and assess what is going on. This could be the result of changes starting to happen to the structures inside the hoof, but equally, he may have a foreign body. If it is draining he will feel more comfortable - will he stand in a bucket of warm salt water?

No, after yesterday’s soak he’s not too keen, but I’ve just washed it with warm salt water.
Should I put anything topical on or leave it completely open?
I thought he looked a little sore on the foot last night but didn’t think anything of it…

If he were mine, I would leave it open and let him move around. The movement will encourage drainage. We haven't hit the fly season just yet, so washing off the gunk should be ok.
Both my friend's and my cob started to abscess around three years ago - repeated small abscesses in one hoof, always the same hoof, always hopping lame until they burst. My lad cleared up after three months or so, and hers kept on for most of the winter. No idea why it happened, and it has not happened again.
