Just doing this on a new one as after some re-assurance that this will go eventually!! And maybe some advice...

Am on day 6 of poulticing after the hole for the abscess was dug and im still getting a tiny bit of pus and a bit of blood he is 100% sound so I started riding this morning just went for a walk then hot tubbed and poulticed again (he is still in) farrier out Tuesday to re-shoe him and put pads on the front. When will it stop drawing!!?!!

My boy has just got rid of his abscess;
We poulticed up for around a week; It seemed to get better, then one day there were loads of puss.
I rang my farrier, who said if he is walking fine and his leg isnt swallen then i should leave the poultice off, as poultices will draw out of anything!
If I were you, I'd try to pick feet out twice a day, and maybe scrub with Hibbiscrub and warm water once a day;
What you could do aswell, is use a dry poultice rather than a wet one, that should give you a better indication as to whether the abscess is still there or not.
Does it still smell??
I have just been out and bought my boy Boa Boots; they are really good; they can be worn when the horse is turned out, and while riding. They are used instead of shoes.

Hope this helps :)

No it doesnt smell anymore and tonight i pretty much just had a bit of blood so hopefully thats it coming to an end, ive poulticed tonight and I will twice tomorrow, then maybe from Friday I could plug it with the Keratex hoof putty, he is 100% sound in trot too.
