Is there something in the air? Turned out my two 'dope on a rope' type horses, eg usually rope around their neck and they pooter about my half acre plot, still lovely and grassy not a skid mark or hoove print in sight.

Should have known after the first warning sign. Opened the door with a big 'hello my lovely' of course didn't get that far as the bloody beast barged straight through me!!! Then continued to canter along beside me before buggering off up the paddock.

Round two, saint like horse who inspired my helping horses thread last week headbutted me smack in the centre of my face. I was seeing stars when I put him out who also continued to ****** off up the paddock which now is essentially a mud ice rink .
Buck leap gallop fart aaaaaand..splat. Now Juno's lying on the slope groaning and wiggling as her field mate dances around at how exciting it is. Cue near sick and faint as I sprint over, honestly could have predicted what happened. She was up, cow kick in my direction but of course my body goes back and my feet stay stationary in mud that would give cement a run for its money, buggered off and perfectly fine.

So now I have a muddy bum, swollen face, wrecked paddock and two absolute brute of animals. Urgh!!! ..needed to vent sorry :p

Oh no!!! I hope you're ok!
It's horrible when they show themselves up like that!! I took Ned for a walk yesterday with my Friend (both on foot) and we were talking about how he's a different horse, such a good boy, bla bla bla, when he spooked and tried to drag me across the field! Thankfully once he realised he wasn't going to be eaten, he stopped and walked nicely again...but they do pick their timings, don't they?

I forgot it was bin day so went for a hack. Lots of horse-eating bin bags that were clearly very hungry as horse spent the whole ride either spooking left or right, or trying to spook in both directions at once!

Eejit that she is.

Hope you're not too sore :).

Ouchie that doesn't sound fun. Hope you're ok

And to mydogsanidiot. My horse loves wheely bins. He used to lick the one at my other yard. Would stop and check them out hacking to. Such a freak

Well I had the opposite to your fall where my head stayed in the same place and my feet wooshed out from underneath me when I stepped on some black ice. Landed pretty much fiat on my back and am now sporting a nice bruise on my bum lol

Swap? Please? I'd prefer her trying to eat them to the vertical teleporting I was treated to today! :D

Maybe he thought they had tasty things in? :p
