Absolutely blinding day

Brilliant. So pleased you had a lovely day.

I see what you mean about us learning valuable bit lessons today. Thank God I was only in a school! Waterford at the ready?

All hail the Waterford!

I'm using my Universal Waterford from Neue Schule when I next go. After today's antics, I might even employ the leather curb. She's so much fitter than she was when I went to Somerford last year. Full of steam now.

I just thank God I had the flash on today as she was trying to cross her jaw to evade the French Link as well as sinking her nose to her knees and pulling me forwards in canter. Baaaaaaad Patches!

I think I might have to try her in a grackle, I reckon you could count her teeth from the ground most of the time

Have a dressage lesson this afternoon so will chat to Debbie about what to do as I do not want to wreck what we have been working on

I feel really bleurgh today - I need to get fitter!

Scarily thoroughly enjoyed it - I now know my mare will jump anything she is pointed at, which is rather good to know, however, if she doesn't want to be checked going into a fence, she won't be

Ha haa sounds like you are not the only one who had a fabby day! Are you travelling her without the partition now? or just on the left, where she put herself?

No partition, but friends were following me and apparently she is a right fidgit and went from one side to the other

Her old owner told me she always went in an Ifor, behind the driver, with partition, and was super stable, so I think she just doesnt like my trialer

You lightweight!

My friend said she'd not be able to walk today. The only aches I have is from the hour on my Twist and Shape stepper last night...not from the 3 1/2 hours in the saddle!

I had a blast though yesterday. Not a nice feeling though when your horse has gotten very strong. Patches was trying to cross her jaw, even in her flash, which is something she never attempts to do in the waterford. I can't imagine I'd have enjoyed being on a farm ride in that bit....or jumping.

Bet youe arms look like weightlifters today!

I wonder if I should've had a dropped noseband. Having just spent £130 on my bridle....I'm not about to risk divorce (and the end of free livery lol) on a new noseband!

We will see, am going to borrow YOs Ifor and see what she does in there. I have noticed that my tow bar on my RR seems rather high, could be I need to drop it down a hole.

Yes, idiot was coming too fast towards me, I had to brake (I was going about 20mph) and pull left into the hedge and the ice just took me one way, got on the verge, got it back, then hit another patch and went straight through a hedge and rolled it - was all very slow and very undramatic!

Weez
YO borrowed an ivor and put it on the back of grandads brand new Disco, ended up changing it because the Disco was too low. They swapped it with the Mitsu and it pulled fine, although ponio had a fit going along in the trailer too

and had to be picked up in a lorry arghhhhhhhhhhhhh
