Absolutely Devastated

So sorry to hear this, how awful for you.

You will know when you are ready to return to the yard, give it time. Your other horses will be fine being looked after by others - I am sure everyone will understand your feelings.

Huge hugs - time is a great healer.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Do not feel guilty about not seeing your other horses you really need to take time out to grieve. It was a shocking accident and has hit you hard - everyone will understand and support you xx

((huge hugs)) that's terrible, i'm so sorry

So so sorry for you, I lost my old horse a few weeks ago (different circumstances) and it was hard going back to the yard to see to my other two, take your time and don't be afraid to let it all out, big hug.

Oh no Cazza, any horse but Ghost *sob* That is absolutely devestating news, I am so so sorry this has happened. Big hug to you - would call but I have lost my mobile AGAIN

So sorry for your loss - RIP Ghost.

Don't feel bad for not wanting to go to the stables now, you will be able to feel when you are ready.

God how awful - don't try to be brave - cry and cry and cry some more. You will feel, upset, angry, bitter, depressed and so on but you have to go through all those emotions before you can start to mend again I'm afraid. I know how you feel, having lost two horses in the prime of their life, beautiful, fit and healthy and up until only recently I would go down to the fields with my stomach in my mouth every morning just dreading what I might find - but time is a great healer.

PS I saved the shoes from two of mine and although I haven't done it yet I intend to get them sprayed and mounted as a tribute - might be nice if you could do the same.

Hugs for you, I have no lost a horse myself so cannt even imagine how you are feeling but take your time grieve (sp) in your own time.

Take Care

OMG I cant believe it! Im so so sorry for your loss!

I feel so lucky that I met her and went out on a fab ride with you both, she was so beautiful! You still have a part of her living in her stunning boy and Im sure he will grow up to be a real character - he may even like the bog in the field, like his mum

Hugs to you all!
