Mandy was full of ideas from the Charles de Knunffy training she's been to, and we worked loads on Axey's trot. Since his back has been sorted he is like a different horse he moves so much better behind and his contact on the bit is now loads more consistent.
We were collecting him and then asking for the begginings of Piaffe and Passage, he found this quite easy and his trot was definately loads more elevated and passagey, I then asked him for a few steps of Piaffe and he did it, he really sat down and lifted his hind legs up. We were still moving too much for it to be true piaffe, but I'm delighted with him. He's had so many issues and he still tries his little heart out for me
