hi
we had a person from on here bring horses to yard for livery was only meant to be one horse we then had an email asking if another horse could come just for 3 weeks i said yes but it could not stay longer at the end of 3 weeks i was asked could it stay another few weeks i said could but only 5 weeks more then this horse ended up staying longer no permission given!!
these horses were very destructive and chewed one of the fences to peices and it had to be replaced we told her she would have to pay for this as she made no attempt to stop this happening and never mentioned it to us..we did put up electric fencing in the end but she agreed bill would be paid and she was going to get the owner of other horse to pay half...she knew she could only stay till winter so she found another yard and moved the horses paying us half the bill for fence still owing the other half and still owing 3 weeks livery for the horse that wasn't even meant to be there!!! she paid half and said it was down to the other owner to pay rest (the other owner was nothing to do with original agreement and i had nothing to do with her as she wasn't around) i think it is down to the girl i dealt with to pay this bill as that's who i had agreement with she is not ansering phone calls etc i know roughly where the horses are now should i go and make a fuss??
also these horses broke several other things of which i said nothing even though she never apologised or said about it
i know horses do damage things and will chew fences but this was extreme and she wasn't paying enough to cover damages like this...
anyway what would u do?
sorry it's soo long but really cross and fed up
