Just bought these beauties but unsure which way round they go... shiny black or matt silver - which side goes against the horse?

Sorry to butt in but I am interested to know if these stirrups do minimise tension/stiffness in hips and knees.

They work for my knackered knees. I like the fact they hang in the correct place and at the right angle plus having a wider tread makes my lower leg feel more stable. I am definitely less crippled than with traditional stirrups.

I've just bought a pair after I rode in a friends saddle with them and really liked them. I've never been a fan of lightweight irons I like to feel them if you know what I mean. These arent feather light but they are lighter than regular stirrups. My wrecked ankle feels much happier in them, and I feel like they are nice and secure on my foot and easy to pop feet out and find again. Overall I'm really happy with them
