Have a Gel-out seat saver on my wish list but they come in three sizes with medium said to fit 16.5-17" saddles and large to fit 17.5-18".

My boys have a 17" and a 17.5" saddles and as the Acavallo will be used on both of them I am unsure whether one will fit both... and if so, would it better to go for the medium and stretch it up for the bigger saddle....or the large and have it a bit loose on the smaller one. People who use them, what would you recommend please (until I am rich enough to afford one in each size!)

Thanks

I have a large which fitted fine on my 17.5 inch saddle. Never actually rode in it as I then bought a new saddle and don't need it! The new saddle is 17 inches but I'm loath to try it on it as I'm bound to do something awful to it, I've got it safe in the house while I decide what to do with it :D

I have a medium and a large for my 17.5" saddles. Personally, I prefer the fit of the medium as it's less bulky and I don't find it pulls the skirt up at all - just raises in the seat when not sat on. The large also seems to come undone much easier but not sure if that's just my error, but it seems to have different attachments in the gullet.

I have a large on a 17.5" saddle, and I found it a tad on the large side - I actually emailed the place I bought it from to double check I'd got the right one! I'd go for the medium if the 17.5" is the biggest saddle you have :)
I love my seat saver!

Hi… I have a Medium on my 17.5 inch saddle and I think when i replace it i will get a Large.. it works fine but I do find it pulls the skirts up a bit and also one of the gullet straps keeps coming undone. Haven't tried a Large on a 17" though… sorry thats not very helpful! But I agree they are marvellous.
