Acavello Arena stirrups or others for bad knees ?

Ive just had knee surgery and want to get some stirrups that are safety ones and suitable for poor knees. I have been looking at the Acavallo ones. Any views ?

I really like my composite reflex stirrups, a bit of give but with stability too. I smashed my knee up quite badly and find the really flex-y stirrups don't give me enough support

I have the acavallo arena safety stirrups and they really make my knees ache, however they do make me feel really stable and they are really lovely looking.

I have Acavallo Operas on both my saddles as my knees and ankles were so painful in normal stirrups. Love them, it's as though your feet float.
