Kitsune is not the only one who had that opinion.
God forbid you should ever need such urgent treatment that a helicopter is called, what are you going to say?
"Sorry i cant go in that, we might scare some daffy person who fails to hear us coming"?

I'm not being nasty I am just stating the facts as I consider them and standing up for the emergency services who do such a bloody sterling job and who do not deserve anything other than the utmost respect.

hmm.it is scarey.
we are next to a hospital with an oxygen therapy unit so we get helis landing next door at all hours!
the horses arent too bother- even the 3 year old wasnt that bothered when she first saw one.
although once it did fly VERY very low over the stables (barely over the top!)- i was in with the 19yo at the time and she did go wild eyed and rushed to the door.(while the 3 year old stayed asleep!LOL)
im sure they do all they can to avoid horses, but a letter to tell them about it can hurt and they maybe able to avoid it happening again..?

Simply contact the air space controler an advise them where your livery yard is so that in future they avoid flying close to you unless it is absolutely essential.
