Accident - Please take care in the high winds

Husband's car was written off today by a falling tree.

Our daughters were in the car at the time

Luckily he was going slowly, having just turned into the lane the yard is on. All three of them are okay

.

The tree came down on the bonnet (it's only a little Clio). It's probably a right off

Windscreen and surround; headlight; wing; front bumper; lots of ddents and scratches; respray.

So please folks, take it easy and be careful!

Girls are okay thank you. A bit shaken still, the occassional reference to it.

I've told them to stick to picking flowers, safer than trees!

the winds are just starting to pick up here, (north somerset)
but has been really windy when its rained then settled down, thank goodness no one was hurt!!!

Glad everyones ok. that could have been a lot worse

Very strong winds at Burghley last night and today, Took up one of the tents with stock in and blew bosses lad over straight into the back of lorry, could have killed him. But all ok thankfully

Watch it when riding too, especially around shallow rooted trees like pines. I watched one come down behind my daughter a few years back, she had just ridden past. The horse was a saint. It could have been worse.
