So Ace had his second trip to the physio today - I’ve noticed over the past 2 weeks that he is definitely improving, even though he is still lame, so I was quite hopeful.
The physio agreed - weirdly he is still 4/10ths lame, but the pain reaction and soreness in his shoulder is apparently about half what it was 2 weeks ago so the physio work is clearly working ? She treated him again and he has to go away for a month now and see what happens - and because you can never take the horse owner out of someone, he has raised poles to do as his physio work ?
We are both still flummoxed why he is so lame, it really doesn’t add up, so I’m also going to start poulticing his foot with Epsom salts in case he does have a hidden corn which is causing him pain. It will be Animalintex next, I know it ?
