Hi all, i’ve moved yards this weekend, and without realising there are a few acorn trees in the fields the horses are grazing in. I’ve moved with a friend and all four of our horses seem to have developed a taste for them, we are going to go and collect as many as we can up tomorrow. The people who own the land have been collecting them with a machine on a tractor, but i’ve read this isn’t usually enough - i’ve been stressed enough about the move and now very worried about this - has anyone any advice? The yard owner has not fenced these parts of fields off and there seems to be a few trees around.
I don’t want to be quick to move yards as one of our ponies is in his 30s and he’s done very well with this move
