ACP or Valerian?

I am about to move yards and my horse has a habit of popping over fences and getting a bit stressed in new places. I was thinking of giving him a small dose of ACP for the first week or so to help him settle in. But I have heard that calmers containing valerian can work although I have never tried them (Nupafeed had no effect at all).

Does anyone know what dose of ACP I should use just to keep him a little bit calmer?

i would go with global herbs super calm that works within hours!

ACP is hit and miss and unless you definitely know it works on your horse I'd get a calmer and start him on it before he moves.

I would also use rescue remedy too.

Why don't you buy a tube of sedalin from your vet? That's what we tend to use on our yard.

valerian can be very effective you have to look around for a calmer that contains it as is banned from comps (so dont use if planning to compete) thiscould be better to use for a wk or so were as acp ismore of asedatetype thing and wont helphorse ajust. blus chip kama ia very gd to.
