ACP tablets & Dermapred ointment online?

I purchased both 20 months ago from theanimalpharmacy.com but their site is persistently down. Does anyone know of an alternative online supplier w/o prescription? And yes, I know this is strictly speaking a no-no before anyone mentions it

My vet insists on selling me Sedalin but the cost is prohibitive when a single bottle of ACP tablets lasts over 2 years and is always handy on the yard when needed. I've Googled w/o sucess.

When you buy on line you don't always know who you are dealing with or even if the product in genuine. EVA vaccine for my stallion costs me 100's euros in France - in the UK it is £60.

I tried to find a seller in the UK for my French vet nothing dodgy - I did some searching and had ONE reply the vendor was in Russia.

The department of health are very concerned about drugs for people being sold over the net some of which are life threatening.

I am all for shopping around as long as you know who you are buying from.

I've used The Animal Pharmacy in the past, too. I bought some Dermapred from them, for mud fever, last year. Can't remember what I paid from there, but it was infinitely cheaper than via my vet. And if you dare ask your vet for a paper prescription so you can buy the medication cheaper from elsewhere, they charge you to provide it. Either way you loose out £'s-wise.

Sorry, but it bugs me to death that we horse owners are made to pay through the nose 99% of the time. Look at Equine Regumate vs Porcine Regumate. I know which one I use. And it's not the former one

it is illegal and stupid to buy from anywhere not asking for a prescription. no idea what quality drugs you are getting. one of my clients made this mistake recently (although actually with a prescription, but just an online pharmacy instead of us) and funnily her dog starting having massive seizures as oon as she changed onto their drugs. straight back onto ours and fine again. funny that.

but, you make your own choices. their site is prob persistnetly down because the VMD have caught them out and shut them down!
