ACP Tablets

I have the vet coming to my horse on Thursday to check how lame she is as we found out 6 weeks ago she has ringbone and has been on box rest since. I did try taking her out for a little grass a few weeks ago and she went mad actually dangerous mad so have decided to give her some ACP so that i can get her out for the vet.
I am not sure how many tablets she will need she is 16.2 sports horse so pretty big. I have given them once before when clipping but i cant remember how many i gave her as it was a few years ago.

Depends on the horse and they may not work. Vet should be able to tell you roughly how much to give her.

Be careful with ACP. It can sometimes cause unexpected reactions, making the animal hyper sensitive and more nervous than they were in the first place!

Oh that is all i need!!! she was ok before when i clipped her as it was just to take the slight edge off her and same for Thursday i just dont fancy her kicking me again then falling over then getting up and running off!!!

Give her 2 about half an hour before you take her for her walk/grass it will take the edge off her, Ive used acp for years for various different horses for all sorts of things never had a problem you will be fine.

The vet gave me the sedilam?? not sure I've spelt it right paste in a syringe and I just put the right amount in her feed and mixed ate the lot. and it did work, but sometimes it depends what upsets them the most.
