Bobbi's horse camp looks good too but they always seem to be full. I'd love to go to one of the actve rider ones, but hubby is reluctent to cough up the cash!
Is it the one at Willerby you're looking at Mayflower?
I did the Active Rider at Event Camp at Kelsall Hill and thought it was really good and very well organised. I have a friend who did that one and one at Somerford Park. She said the somerford park one was better from a logistical point of view in that hte stables, arenas, tea/coffee etc was all a bit closer to each other than at Kelsall. Woudl definately recommend them and might think about going to another next year.
Ive been to the Active Rider Camps - the Willerby one has a video analysis included - well different.
The girl that runs Active Rider fell out with the Bobbis horsecamp and they split the business up - the two camps are VERY different - if you want to get drunk and not ride - go to Bobbis !!!
Diggerbez - Ive seen you before recommending Bobbis Camps - you are selling them on this forum. BEWARE your trying to look trustworthy and you are NOT!
That's really not fair debjilling88. I too am an avid fan of B's camps and have never got drunk and not been able to ride?!! Thanks to the great tuition at those camps I've progressed from being a happy hacker to BE eventing and I've met some fantastic friends including Diggerbez. Advertising or not - I'd definitely recommend them!
Should also add that I'm sure the Active Rider camps are really good too although I've never been on one personally. Don't really think that making negative comments about either on this forum is very sporting or justified!!

Out of order IMHO.

Noooo, don't be daft - I meant debjilling. Questioning your trustworthiness when doesn't even know you, what a silly comment. I know loads of people who have had fun (getting pissed) AND learnt loads and come away with a more confident, improved horsey (like the Van Man). Sounds like there is a bit of agenda with her comments....

ha cool
you should read the PMs she's sent me! honestly they are hysterical. apparently i am 'prowling' the forum and just waiting to post about camps
thats a lot of posts i;ve written about camps given i have something like 2,500 posts!
ha ha! now she's 'monitoring' everything i post- i can imagine that will be very boring as i write a lot of rubbish!
I've done about 10 camps before they split, they were fab and have since done two active rider ones, one the three day event one in March and previously the BHS one last year. Would happily go to either as both Bobbies and Jaynes camps are brilliant.

Why does it matter if you do promote camps? They are there to help ppl improve and have a good time. Oh well
from what i can gather she's unhappy with my recommendation. which is fine, its only a recommendation- people can take or leave it! i don't really care either way. some people are wierd....
