I am booked in on one of the end of year courses - was taking my little lad to do a mix of jumping and cross country.... as most of you know he has thrown a sickie and is on box rest with "soft tissue damage to the structures in the hoof" - now after 6 to 8 weeks box rest - (that will take us until June) - i do not think (if he is sound everything crossed) it is fair to expect him to come back into work, get fit and then do a intensive weekend... SO do i cancel or take my big lad and just do dressage and hacking? with the little lad - what i really want to do is throw him out for a year so he gets a chance to fully recover. Or am i being over cautious?
