Just wondered whether anyone has had any success using acupuncture for arthritis?

My mare is now retired due to the condition. She's not on any medication yet, on advice from the vet, and is just turned out permanantly to stop her seizing up.

My dog also has a bit of athritis and she's been having acupuncture as well as medication to help so wondered whether to have horse done too?

Any success/horror stories welcome!!

I've seen it work well on an undiagnosed hindlimb lameness...why not? Give it a try - I can't see a down side and I'm not sure there are too many horror stories ;)
One of our nurses does a lot of Shiatsu and swears by it in some horses....don't knock it til you've tried it....:D
