Ad help please

I like the pics and the price is fine but you need to add other things about what she is like to ride and handle like loading, farrier, hacking, to clip ect.

I think its a good advert and good price.

Perhaps say what shes like to handle as well and reading in between the lines, what is her flatwork like?

L, seriously put her in H&H, know 3 horses now that have sold through H&H that have been advertised elsewhere and had no success.

I would recommend the pony club website. I'm selling a similar type and only had about 3 calls from 2 weeks on horsemart but have had 3 times as many from 1 day of being on pony club site!! Defo £12 well spent!

Personally I don't see that there is anything wrong with your add, you have covered most info (prior to ringing/viewing) your straight to the point, nor would I get the impression that she is a fruit loop. You have stated the jobs she does, given photographic evidence, hence not for a novice, a horse like that needs a bit of bite, a bit of attitude, a good rider to bring out the best in the jobs your horse can clearly do, so I personally cant see why people would be put off by stating not a novice ride etc.

Give it time, if your honest about your horse, she is what she is then you'll find someone, or should I say they will find your horse, fact is a lot of people do a lot of window shopping before deciding what they really want when buying a horse, you may of just had the window shoppers.

Forgot to mention also, did you ring the people back that came to view her and actually ask why she was not what they were looking for, ok it might sound a bit pushy but if you explain that you'd be really grateful for their feedback, comments...even the negative ones, so you can either improve or adjust your add...if you agree with what there comments were, its no skin of your nose, and none of their neither.

Hello! How are you? Long time no speak!!!

With regards to your ad...
1) I think she's on for far too less - will be putting people off by thinking "what's wrong?"
2) Take out the last pic of her jumping into water - she looks like she's hesitated and then launched herself. People might think she won't be confident with water if they're looking for something to ODE.
3) I think you're overstressing the "needs confident, experienced rider." - try and reword it so that it puts novices off but doesn't put a half decent riding clubber off.

I can't see anything wrong. The advert read well and there are some lovely shots of her.

I don't agree with regards to upping her price or that she is too low. For her age I think you are being decently competitive. Perfect price for people looking for an older horse, accept that she is not going to be an out an out school master, and pay a suitable amount accordingly.

I remember Spiral had a lovely mare for sale, thirteen years old I think, and we knew her to be a really nice type but, when the people viewing have no knowledge of the horse, they are just going to see the black and white of it. The age and stats.

I just say keep going. The market is suffering from the credit crunch but just hold out and you will find her a lovely home.

Yes, I have had some comments back, it was a shame as she was in season when the 2nd lady tried her and was'nt going forward off the leg, otherwise I think she would have really liked her. Its too hard, I wish I had the money to get someone else to do it for me!

Thanks Iestyn, have you found another horse yet?

Hello! Yes...I've got my little man back! Pulsaar! Yay! It's so nice to have him back. I've got my ex eventing him and I'm just going to potter about and have some fun on him. Had to put him on livery due to work but at least I know if I can't make it he's looked after. I see you have a new one - little TB?! They're just the best! x
