Anyone see countryfile last night. Adam now has a machine to muck out small areas.

This guy reminds me of an agricultural Clarkson, a piece of kit with an engine for every occasion.

Yes ( have to say I do like Adam :o Wonder if he's as nice in real life as he comes across on TV?)

I do wonder though how much kit he does actually have to buy - great advertising for suppliers to provide him with machinery to get a plug on TV.

Personally I can't blame him! Fantastic resource, having spent many years as an agriculture student and in my working life mucking out calf pens and big crew yards by hand. Telehandlers are fantastic but on tight yards built before machinery came along they aren't ideal.

He is! Spent a week with him at Great Yorkshire show a few years back. He was filming at a friends diary farm for Countryfile Summer Diaries and they followed their successes at the show for the week. He was great company and really embraced the "Cattle showing lifestyle!" Even enjoyed a small tipple with us all of an evening!

My 8 year old son, who is a tractor fanatic and avid farmer, said last night "Mummy it must be really difficult to film Countryfile because Adam keeps getting in and out of so many different vehicles." How right he is!! :D

Hummm, Adam......fingers need love to you know and he can DEFINITELY have some from me......*drools*

Ps the lovely Mr Swann was interviewed by him about his sheep & I think he said he was a lot nicer/more knowledgeable than he expected (Adam, not Alec, we all know Alec is nice, the old goat ;))

He has his own beer too now...

And if you looked closely when the pen had been mucked out, it seriously looked like someone had been in there with a broom, not a single bit of straw in it!

The Vizsla puppy was so cute, can you imagine how many families are now looking for Vizsla pups?!

Many items of large machinery are shared with other farmers, he has said this before, afterall, not everyone has £250,000 to blow on a new combine....

I'm guessing that he also gets sponsored by some manufacturers as he is seen using it on primetime TV...?

Agree when we were recently looking for a jcb workmax utv came across one that BBC supplied to his farm and were now selling Adam used it foc.
