Things your dogs have adapted in an effort to make life easier for you. I’ll start…
Gardening gloves with the fingers and thumbs removed for easy smart phone usage.
Watering can roses opened up so the water flows quicker.
Uggs with the lining removed so they are easier to get on and off.
Next stage entire heels removed for airiness.

None of these inventions have hit the jackpot yet but even Mr Dyson had to start somewhere, right?

Stirling has kindly removed the straps from the back of my Ariat mules . Made them so much easier to put on .
It must be a lab thing as He’s also put some additional holes in the watering can nozzle as well . Proper gardeners aren’t they 👍
I also had a kneeling pad. Now I have a kneel.
And a trowel with a roughened handle for easier gripping. 😆

The hooligan tries to make regular glasses alterations and has a keen interest in interior design (he moves his bed around the room, buries chews in the sofa, rearranges the throw cushions & blankets, gives his opinion on which outside plants should actually be houseplants), pauses the tv if he doesn’t like what’s on or sometimes turns it off altogether. He has also repeatedly expressed a desire to learn to write (he nicks off with pens all the time) & doesn’t shy away from doing his fair share of the housework (nicks off with cloths, dusters, sponges etc)

Yes, but I prefer mine still attached to the dog!

If a bit of dog hair bothers you then get a dog the same colour as the carpet (or change the carpets to match the colour of the dog) :). Failing that, dark hair blends in better than white.

I'm sure current dog produces more hair than all the others put together and it doesn't blend in with anything.

Despite their best efforts at dog hair management, does anyone else find dog hair in their socks?

I get dog hair EVERYWHERE. I even have two washing machines now, one for them and one for us but they still scatter hairs in it.
When I’m checking a recipe OH asks ‘black or yellow hair in this one’. When I make food for hunt or shoot functions I rely on people who hunt and shoot thinking the hair has fallen off their own clothes, and wasn’t there from scratch.
They also do advanced hair shed whereby Pen, black, moults on pale items and the others (yellow) go for the dark.
They are always going the extra mile, this lot. 😆
