I feed beet and linseed, tried pink mash for about 3 months and have now gone back to beet and linseed.
Linseed seems to be the best for my sensitive digestion horse and the pink mash didn't seem to give the same benefit (though I appreciate this is contrary to most people's experience).
You gave it a go and found wanting. That’s the way it goes. I’m just happy to find something that works for us... for now :)

We seems to be in a very high iron area so the speedibeet was a contributor to the high levels in the grass. I’ve cut out as much as I can. Having a barefoot horse, these little things can make a difference.

When I had a “normal” horse, I used speedibeet and grass nuts end of with a bit of pink powder. Trust my luck to have a sensitive one now :D she gives me a right headache!!

Thank you all for your recommendations , she is already putting weight on , her poos are now normal and she’s taking to her ridden work well . She still has a way to go , but is looking so much better.
Her first jump at home ( and second time jumping )
