Adding Irish microchip to UK equine database

As title. Has anyone done this please - do I just need to register his microchip with someone like petlog in the UK? Thank you.

Kennel Club website and register online in the Equine section. Cost me £17 last year and they will send you all the registration paperwork by email.

Edit to add Just checked mine and it’s with Petlog through the KC.
