Just a quickie to avoid boring you all senseless.

Finn's Buckinghamshire debut went quite well, once he'd decided to stop lunging himself around the field and jumping the fence *just to prove he IS an eventer* . Git.

All this with me standing in the middle trying to pretned I dont want to catch him.

Saved me lunging him, I s'pose.

All this meant we arrived at Addington at 12.45 for our test at 12.56, so 63.9% and 7th wasn't too shabby.

Lots of 7's and but for a smalll disagreement regarding trotting when he'd rather canter, was a very enjoyable test.

Am definitely moving back to restricted...there were only 2 in the R section - rest were Open

Also watched some of the PSG....WOW! I want a top hat, tails and VERY shiny boots

Well done Tori and Finn! LOL at him "lunging himself". Bet it wasn't so funny at the time though.

I saw the most gorgeous tail coat at Blenheim this year - but was then told that it was £800! Ouch.
 
LOL!!! Sorry!! Report was amusing though!! I think you did very well!! Get back to restricted ASAP!!!!!! Open is a nightmare!! LOL!!!

Umm top hat and tails... love it.......shiny boots... umm!!! Kongi boots as I call em!! Soooooooooo nice... money...... yup LOADS!!!!!!!! Pain wearing them in.....YUP... so I have been told .... I dont have a pair... Where is Santa when you need him eh??!!

I did look at Koings recently, but remembered Worried's pain of breaking hers in.

The girl wearing them today did look so lovely though. She was riding a horse very similar to Ovidius' Odie.
 
My Konigs made my legs bleed. Every time I wore them. I couldn't take the pain any more and sold them. Now I want a pair again because the do look so stunning. But I remember the pain!!!!
 
I didn't have the patent ones, they weren't available then. Now I covet patent Konigs, but believe me, they are evil torture implements. I tried so hard to break mine in, wore them in the house, rode in them every day, walked in them, and every time I put them on the backs of my knees bled. Maybe they were slightly too high, but there were supposedly made to measure.

I now have comfy old Cavallos! But dream about Konigs in my weaker moments.
 
I don't think they were available when I had mine. At least I didn't know about them. Maybe I'll ask Santa for a new pair for Christmas, with heel raisers! Fat chance.

Konigs are fab though, the hard ones are hard..Solid.. no wonder they last!!!

How are you finding bucks then compared to Herts?
