Can someone clarify that a 15 yr old on a horse can jump seniors? BSJA website doesn't explain or I can't find where it does! Thanks.

i think it should be fine you could give them a call to check.

if you wre to register you would need to be a Junior Associate Membership.

hope that helps

no its absolutley fine. Children can compete in senior classes from 1st Janurary of the year they attain their 13th birthday (eg once out of 12h2s) there is no need for any hush hush and that can be either on a ticket or if registered as a junior associate

Thanks Santa145 that's really helpful

Are you going this wk/d to addington? Should be fine for him to jump on a ticket. Lots of my friends under 16 in the PC have jumped affiliated on a ticket.

If you jump on a ticket I don't think anyone really cares do they ? Unless you obviously look to young....no one would ever check !

aged 14 i jumped my pony on a ticket around a senior track. As in theory i could have reg as a junior associate and pony as a horse. There would be nothing stopping someone from doing so!

I didnt think there was a minimum age to jump in seniors is there? Ive seen kids as young as 14 jumping horses in senior classes. As long as your on a horse, not a pony I dont see a problem?

There is...I think it's 13, but it may be 14. It's the age you are allowed to become a Junior Associate
