Urggghhhhhh. Why do we show-jump?! I got there at 11.30, my horse being inconsideratly dirty (might help if I did more than wave a brush at his arse during the week!), and W having decided last night was a good time to give himself a puncture wound... As BBs said only a couple left to jump in the BN so decided to go for the Discovery. Went and did my entry, put my number down in the first available space...number 69!!! *no sniggering at the back*. It was run concurrently with the 1m open, and between the two classes there were over 100 entries in the end. It's mid-week FFS people! Go and get jobs! (like I'm one to talk!). So by the time I jumped I was bored out of my tree! Anyway, Liberty has decided he is now a VERY CONFIDENT YOUNG MAN! Which meant that over-rode it all rather and we had two down, both on our way out of related distances. He didn't look at anything, not even the water-tray. So now we have resolved the issue of going over fences we apear to need to work on leaving them up
So a few V poles and angled cross poles before Patchetts on Monday methinks... Anyway, left there at 3! Having not hung around at all after my round. So £30 diesel, £15 entry fee, best part of £5 on lunch, two down, and bugger all to show for it. So, returning to my original question, why do we show-jump?!
