I am going to go and watch on Saturday

Is anyone else going to brave the cold to come and watch?

I really want to go, can you just show up? Do you have to buy tickets etc? or book in advance.

It's about an hour and a half trip each way so would rather know before showing up.

I was just going to rock up late afternoon.

There is nothing on their website about tickets, they normally say if you need tickets. I might e-mail them to double check

Big snow dump forecast for Friday, will be interesting to see if it runs? Maybe those competing all weekend will be okay if arriving Thursday afternoon?

Replied on the other thread but as Addington were nice enough to helpfully post on this - their food is lovely. One of the show centres my OH actually likes going to and we have even been known (shock horror) to buy food there rather than cook in the lorry. Cake anyone?

just seen on BD that they are harrowing every 2 hours to try and keep outdoors viable.

Another novice question. Is it OK to show up halfway through and walk in. Oh working til 7 so would get there about 730, hopefully in time to see Charlotte riding.

arrival ok whenever and i would guess that nowhere is heated so bring blankets! even if it is it will be horribly draughty with people going in and out all the time.

You can sit in the restaurant or bar upstairs which will be warm (I'm assuming bar will be open to public and not just private) Seats are very snug so don't get to wrapped up or you'll be squidged in.

I can recommend the egg and bacon baps btw
