Just got home, and what a super time we've had
I arrived and snoopy was awful! banging the lorry and a total handful to try and tack him up
Once I got his bridle on and led him down the ramp all calm was resumed
All tack on I hopped on off the ramp!
Off we went into the dark and up to the main arena. The lights resembled blackpool illuminations and snoops stood outside waiting for reasurance! he heard a neigh and off he went.
He marched into the practice arena and calmly worked around nicely.
Suzy eventually arrived and we warmed up over the fences he flew them and off he went into the main arena! well he gingerly went in and trotted down to the first fence which faced the restaurant but he didnt care and popped around. He knocked fence 5 as he was slightly napping to the doors but he continued along and flew the wall filler and gate
We came out and had 2 more horses to go until we went back in. This time he was like a real pro and flew round just knocking fence 3 due to him being cocky and flying over fences 2 and 3 and gaining too much ground.
We had 20 horses to go before the next class and he was a complete dope on a rope stood there with his rug on waiting his turn.
The next round was much bigger and again the little sod did a flying leap to fence 2 and dislodged it but again learning from this he mistakes he popped around the rest of the course no hassel and clearing them by miles
So all in all a very good night - okay we had 4 faults in each round but hey hes 4 and ive only had him 6 wks
