Addington xc event

Hey its on tomorrow, and I haven't done an indoor xc at addington before. I don't own an actual cross country jumper. I was just wondering if anyone knew if you are allowed to wear a hoodie for it, also, do you have to wear a body protector?

any help would be very grateful.

you would have to wear a bp - any old log sleeved top under it would be fine. not sure about rules regarding hoodies, but not the best choice imo

in the rules it hasnt said about a body protector,

usually people wear either showjumping or cross country attire

i dont wear a BP when i go and i wear SJ

they dont seem to mind aslong as your one or the other!

You must wear xc colours or showjumping attire according to the schedule. I went to one before Xmas with 2 friends who did not wear back protectors. Most of the jumps were working hunter type, so therefore knocked down but there were also several logs, so I would say back protector optional. Don't see that anyone could object to a hoody although not conventional as XC colours

I go on if im in XC gear i wear my BP, but if im in my SJing gear i don't, partly because i can't... they don't seem to mind either way, but wouldn't reccomend wearing a hoodie, i think it says in the schedule wither XC or showjumping attire..
good luck, maybe a rugby shirt?
