Had an excellent time didn't we HG?

was lovely to see BBmat and Andypandy, also HG's super foals and the excellent job BBmat has done with HG's lovely stallion CVS Hot Business (Teddy). Also enjoyed noseying at the stallions at Mats place and his Numero Uno foal is absolutely STUNNING!! Think you need a new pic of the 3yr old Mat, that pic doesn't do him any justice at all he's much more gorgeous in the flesh.

Anyway, the champs were great have seen some truly amazing young jumping horses, just wish I'd had enough £ to have bought something at tonights auction, there were some rather desirable scrummy and extremely talented horses there, inc one 3 yr old which cleared the harris fencing!!

Bounty - he jumped so so well, 4 faults on 1st day and 8 today but I think he was a bit flat as it was his 1st time away and the jumps were big and he's only been jumping for about 3 months. He was really unlucky yesterday - should have been clear, both he and karen deserved it.

Diesel will reply in a min.......gtg get my t! lol

There was a lovely 5yo stallion by Arko, Its the business was very well represented and all the ones I saw jumped amazing. There was a lovely parco in the 4yos! My mare Dorenda's 5yo licensed son was there but didn't get to see him other than in his stable. I marked 5 in the auction I would buy (if I was a multi millionaire!)
Bellagio did not disgrace himself at all, he was a little star, and he is going to have learn alot and hopefully when he goes to scope in a couple of weeks he'll take staying away in his stride. It really is david v goliath at these things, we were against the likes of John Whitaker, louise Whitaker, Ben Maher and Tim Stockdale but we are going back for the 5yos hopefully next year and planning to take my 2 chestnuts 3yos for the 4yos next year if they are ready so have not been put off!!

There was an amazing 5yr old stallion by Arko that Marie Goosen rode, there is a mare being auctioned tonight, 5 yr old by Chellano Z that is stunning qand has such a great technique, also liked her 1/2 brother by same stallion. Other nice auction horses were a grey gelding by corianus and a bay mare by charisma and a brown stallion by quasimodo, and another brown stallion by quidams rubin. (my faves). Though there were lots of nice horses and I can't remember all of them, Ben Maher rode a nice grey stallion but I can't remember it or it's sire!

I loved Cherlina Z (lot 41), Cheers Charisma (11), Captain Amazing (27), Q Genius (49) and Zilsky VD Kapel (44) too. though I think there'd probably only be about 10 that I wouldn't have wanted! lol Did you see the Arko 5 yr old that Marie Goosen rode? I think that would def make it to grand prix level, he was stunning!

I wish I had 6 figure sums in the bank!! sigh...... maybe on day I'll sell the house and live in a tent in a field......... lol

Think the Arko horse that Marie Goosen was riding is owned by Nick Skelton. Chellano Z was very well thought of at Zangersheide and breeders and was very popular. I saw him a few times and he was a lovely horse. He unfortumatly died about 3 years ago but now his offspring are very popular.

Gosh didn't realise the sire was dead, what a shame, maybe if I win the lottery I can buy one of his daughters! His stock are certainly spectacular.

lol @horsegroupie, yes I think the less said the better, don't think it'd be appreciated, least I know what the bb is!!

If the Arko stallion is the one that Nick skelton owns Micheal Jones ( Nicks step brother married to Alison Bradley)had it last year to bring on for Nick. The price tag then was well over £100 000 before it did anything.
