Addisons disease

Has anyone come across the above or have any experience of it?
SIL cocker (show) is in the vets at the moment with it ( found to have it yesterday through bloods )

Yes - my Springer has it.
Easily controlled with drugs....potentially life threatening without.
There is loads of information on the internet.

My old dog had addisons, not a nice disease at all.
He died aged 7, he was on meds for his whole life but unfortunately they caused his bones to deteriorate (I cant remember the actual name for the condition) until he could no longer walk without crying, we had to have him PTS.
My mum was a very active member (and still is) on one of the addisons forums, they are very helpful people on there, unfortunately I cant find the link but if you google it you should find it.
