addition to previous post, would you take both shetlands or just 1?

why not?

you could always sell her again in the future if you needed to!

Get them both! They will be great company for each other. I have just bought a couple of little ones - I wanted two as I hate seeing them on their own (I have 4 big horses and have to keep the little ones separate due to keeping them on restricted grazing). They are great friends - share a stable together and are just so cute. Sorry to hijack your post, but here they are, looking so happy together

The larger one is a shetland (he is 9 hands and the other is a Falabella x Shetland 8 hands)

Get both. If being kept with bigger horses a shetland will often become 'alpha' or at the other end of the spectrum the one left out. If you have two they an be separated and keep each other company.

Go on - buy them both!!

I've got two mini shetlands and they keep each other company - just the right size to groom and play fight with one another...

A photo to give you an idea of how cute they would look in the field together

If you've got the facilities, I would buy both! My companion pony keeps the grass down in the small patches of grass that we can't use for the big horses so he is a very effective lawn mower too!

Yours are very sweet too - I love chestnuts! How long have you had them - they look great friends

Mine like being in the stable together too - they love coming in for a bit of fuss, but are sooo messy!!
They are very good at knocking the mangers down too...

BUY BOTH BUY BOTH BUY BOTH BUY BOTH
