Just wondered if anyone has used this in youngsters?
My 17mth yearling has come through hock arthroscopy and a small lesion was debrided, vets arent convinced that this was what was causing her 5/10 lameness (unless she really is a total wimp). No "true" OCD was seen and no protein in the joint tap.
So we are on 8 weeks box rest with hand walking post stitches removal with back for review.
However after lots of investigation in USA they seem to adequan in youngsters alot as its a good supportive therapy, vets have confirmed this and say there is no harm and a joint supplement wouldnt do any harm either.
So really just looking to see if anyone has done this with their youngsters? I want to give her the best chance of getting back and "fit" so any suggestions welcome!
