Adina went to Moreton today to do a couple of in hand shows at their annual show.

She had a bath this morning and I plaited her up. She was sooo well behaved.

Here she is waiting for Lee to arrive with the jeep.

She walked straight up into the trailer and travelled really well even when we were sat in the bank holiday traffic for ages (cue Piaffe getting very stressed)

Got there in time but, for a reason unknown to us, we managed to miss the first class which is the one I really wanted to do; Potential Sports horse.

Dont know how we managed that but hey ho.

The second class was riding horse/ ridden hunter and I entered it too just for experience, I knew we wouldnt get anywhere because she is only 3.
Anyway, Lee handled her and she was simply perfect in her behaviour, couldnt fault her at all. The judge told Lee that, when she matures, she is going to be a stunning mare.

I was very proud when I watched her float around the ring.

After her class, Lee walked her around the stands and over to the show jumping etc and she was brilliant.

Anyway, no photos of the class as forgot to bring it with me but some of her after with her first rossette.

The forth photo is one for the mantelpiece methinks!

She looked stunning - you must be very proud. Lucky you having such a chilled baby! Well done for getting a fifth

Well done.
Personally i would get her mane over on to the right side too.
Good luck for the future she looks fab

Thanks!

Not really bothered about which side the mane goes tbh. Im only taking her out to gain experience, I have no real interest in showing as she will be a dressage pony!

bambino is naughty

It took us 15mins to catch him yesterday - we even took Bloss out of the field and back towards her stable and he wasnt interested and just kept galloping around

Shes not so possesive over him now either, i think hes annoying her already!

She looks lovely, I too am a lover of the dropped noseband, not utilized enough IMO. Really great on babies as it doesn't dig into their molars like the others can.

Does it really matter what side a horses mane falls on, I have never understood that, even for showing classes.

Thanks.
Yes I se a drop on my other horse too mch prefer it.

I dont really get the plaiting thing either.

But, like I said, Im showing to give her experience, thats all.
