Apologies if posts exist elsewhere but nothing came up on search.

Looking for something in the 10/12" as a cub saddle for lead reigning and 12/13/14" as a proper saddle. Wintecs/ Thorowgoods seem to start at 15" and a lot of other/reputable makes are 16" for pony saddles. Not clear how good/adjustable/comfortable the W/T cub saddles are. A few saddles available on ebay (difficult to avoid looking when you google....) but not sure of quality when unbranded (safety and comfort).

What do you use, do you recommend it and where did you get it?

I got a cub saddle for my kids, and it is ok, but not much more to sit on than a saddle pad, I bought a similar one that wintec do, but I can't remember the style, I'll add it when my brain kicks in. It's more like a proper saddle, deeper seat made from equileather but still has a handle and adjustable pads. Cost about £80 so didn't break the bank either.( Have just checked they have them on the ride-away web site under wintec childs saddle.)

thx for responses. fylde/natives' will have to be on the ebay/2nd hand watch as quite expensive. Not sure if the wintec at £80 is much better than the cheaper £30-40, particularly in terms of adjustability of fit.

I had a cheaper cub saddle first for my son then yard got broken into and it was stolen so i now have the wintec i dont think there is a big difference in the cheaper ones to the wintec apart from the wintec looks nicer but the fit and adjustability are just the same.
