Im looking for a couple of new headcollars. Old style ones. Webbing. The ones which fully undo on the nose, so you can put on/take off a bridle or adjust for size. Also needs to have a ring on the back of the nose and not those loose D rings they have nowadays. I just cant find them. Any ideas:)

I like these ones - I use the throat clip quite a lot for putting them on and off and like that it's a flat clip. The dog lead style clips never sit flat against their cheeks and I always think they must dig in.

I used one of those shires ones for ages and it lasted well. Bit rusty but worked!
I usually get mine made by one of the endurance bridle makers though (plas equestrian, pioneer endurance, performance equestrian) as although it makes it an expensive headcollar, i can have any features/dimensions/colours i want and the biothane looks brand new forever. One of mine outlived it's first horse and is on a second, other than slightly dented straps you'd never know.

I always use these ones. Last for years.

I use the shires ARMA ones they are really good quality - nice colours too!. I will only use this type of headcollar, hate the ones with the loose ring at the back and like to be able to take the headcollar off from under a bridle. An essential, when taking young horse out in the lorry for their first adventures!
