Please clarify something for me - we're not allowed to swear on the forum, right? But spouting vile clap-trap about financial issues being the reason behind a compassionate horse owner deciding to end the suffering of sick horses is ok, yes?
And sending nasty PM's too is ok, yes? But posting on a public forum to ask why send said PM's isn't, right?

I ask as it seems a**e about face!

Nobody does know but the fact that JM has been banned is what prompted my question as I'm confused by the whole situation!

Exactly so saying that 'that' is ok and JM posting isn't doesn't make sense because for all everyone knows the person in question has been banned too

Maybe they have both been suspended for bickering

In an ideal world I suppose they would (tho from what I saw of the WHY post JM kept the moral high ground by not naming & shaming as she'd been advised to do by many members)

Perhaps Admin could clear that up for us too?

If you want to get a response from admin I've found the best way is either to send a PM or start a new thread in the Suggestions forum. I don't think they look at the rest of the forum unless someone presses the inform admin button.

Just noticed if you hover your mouse over the little icons at the bottom of your post there is a printer and finger pointing and a piece of paper in a circle it is that one.

How do you know JM07 has been banned? Is it forever or just for a few weeks? It doesn't say so on her profile although the WHY post has been removed? But that doesn't mean she has been banned so just curious how you know???

If someone has pressed it which it sounds like they have and then you press it it will say admin already informed

Somebody has spoken to her it is on the other post about JM07.

JM07 has been banned for 7 days due to repeated use of offensive language on the forum despite a recent warning, not in relation to her own post regarding unpleasant PMs.

Her own post, 'Why?', was removed due to references to French Rescue and also due to large amounts of offensive language by various other forum members.

HHO is not moderated — we examine individual threads once a complaint has been received via the moderator button, PM, email or a phone call. This means that we are only aware that rules are being broken once alerted to it by a forum member.

HHO Admin

Its getting unbelievably pathetic at the moment. This forum is become more of a joke than anything else. There seems to be some odd reasons for bans and yet other things go completely unchecked. As for this fascination with button pushing people really need to get out more. This is a internet forum where opinions are expressed (or at the moment not). Just because its not your opinion why report it to admin?

French rescue.....must have missed that one.
But I deviate.......You are loosing members at a rate of knots Admin, either through banning or people deciding they dont want to read a bunch of "how much" posts as all the good, interesting, INFORMATIVE posts are removed by your not so good selves.
The whole point two thread still has people scratching their heads as to why indeed Lucretia was banned, and now JM.
Maybe its time HHO admin left the power crazed behaviour at the door, and either enforced the "rules" or not. To pick on one or two but allow the masses to escape the same punishment smacks of favoritism!
