My son and daughter-in-law got a four year old Staffie from a Rescue Centre in October. The fee was £80.00. We live in Northern Ireland. Rescue fees might be cheaper here.

We paid 180 for Fodhla I think, from the rescue based in Moira. I thought I got a bargain because she came spayed and vaxxed etc but your son got a real bargain lol.
I do think rescues here are cheaper than Britain generally.

Again, SB's case sounds more like a pound than a rescue but happy to stand corrected.

I paid £50 for lyl 11 years ago. Initially she was fostered with the option to adopt.
She should have been £100 but they reduced the price because they really wanted me to have her.
I'd have happily paid more.
She had just been spayed and vaccinate when I got her.

I am pretty sure my lad was £50, from the Dogs Trust in Ballymena, and he got free vacc’d and neutering - though that was 12 years ago now!
