At what age does a large dog stop growing, we have a Spinone pup who is 17 weeks, at what age would she be considered adult? we have an adult Spinone but she was 11 months when we got her so already fully grown.

For a spinone (a relatively slow maturing breed) I would say the dog would be classed as an adult(both mentally and physically) at about 2 1/2 years.
With regards to growing, i wouldthink he will more or less stop growing in height by about 10 months (and probably look like a gangly teenager!!) and then continue to 'fill out' until about 18 months, and then for the next 6 months or so, build muscle and condition. +another 6 months in the hope they start behaving anything resembling an adult!!!
This is all just averages and estimates but hope it helps.

The larger (weight as well as height) they are, usually, the later they tend to mature, as a rule.

Ditto the above, the larger breeds do take a long time to mature, both physically and mentally. I had my young GSD with me at a horse show yesterday and someone was admiring her 
, and asked how old she was. Oh she's only a baby says I, then realised she is 2 in a couple of weeks.

Lol, i still say that for my 3 year old GSD! I find it helps to say 'shes only a baby' just after she has done something delinquant again!

CC I know how you feel our BC has always had a pale muzzle making her look older than she was, she is old know she will be 14yrs on Friday!
