i have just read beccki's post below and it got me thinking do they do adult camp's kinda like pony club camp i would love to take me boy somewhere like that, or am i just wishing i went to pony club camp when i had the chance!?

Yes, we have about 12 a year here, run by the riding clubs and the BHS. I know the NFU run one in England - venue varies I think - Norfolk and the midlands ring bells.

Generally you get a very good level of instruction, and they are enormous fun.

I had a look at horsecamp.co.uk yesterday which looks quite good, but ts works out about 260 for 4 group lessons which I thought was quite pricey.

Check with your local riding clubs.

Most are for members only, but the one I went on last year was brilliant fun.

All inclusive price, just bring own horse feed and hay.

Fab tuition too.

I am going again this year. I loved it. Tackled my first XC session on it and it was good, only baby stuff, but enough to give us a taste to do some more this year.
