Adult height? * PICS*

Hi
Was wondering what adult height you all think my boy will get? Dad was 17.1hh at 2yo, mum is 15.1-2hh adult?

He measured 14.2-3hh at 18 months(oct 09) And is bum high again!!

He was born 2-3 weeks prem and had a hard start. . . dont know if this will affect his adult height?

Not too sure on the height.....but wow what a lovely coloured, those markings are great!!

Who is the Dad? I have a lovely skewbald mare at home who doesn't do alot have been thinking of possibly breeding from her!

It is indeed!!! Bargin of the year!! He is so toasty!!!
He hasn't had it long but so far so good!! and he is out two yearlings and 3 foals and they all play and generally rugs only last a couple of months!!

I think he'll make bigger than that. My WBxTB filly was 14.2 - 14.3 at 18 months old too, and is now standing a smidge under 16.1 at 2 and a half. She's expected to finish a smidge under 16.3.

Her dam was 15.1 TB and her sire 16.1 Polish WB. Dam's sire was 16.3 though.

i love his daddys marking. urm i am useless at this but my friend had a idXtb whos mum was 14.2 and dad was 17.2 and the horse is 16hh/16.1 as a rising 5 yr old

my vet taught me a way to rough guesstimate take a piece of string from fetlock to elbow and measure then move string up from fetlock to elbow and the other end will be roughly where he will be when finished growing hope that makes sense and helps
