Adult sized individuals who ride ponies.........

I used to ride a 13.2hh highland pony, I'm 5 ft 3 and he was quite deep bodied. I also used to ride a shetland pony at the same time, she was maximum height (32 inches) I only weighed 8 stone at the time!
 
I should mention that my new mare I bought to replace Chester is 13.3 hh and I am 5'4 135 lbs

She is more than able to carry me but my oldest daughter ( who is two inches taller than me and about 15 lbs lighter) says she does not want to ride her becasue she is so small and wants a bigger horse

I want to convince her that this mare will be just fine to ride and try and motivate her.

She is upset I sold Our bigger gelding ( even though he was too hot for her to ride a lot) and the other horses here are not suitable for her so I really wish she would come around as another horse is not an option right now.

I'm 5'7, just under 9 stone and I had this welsh on loan for a summer two years ago and she was about 14.2 hh. I couldn't have gotten away with anything smaller though....

I also sometimes currently ride this 15hh andalucian who I feel massive on, but actually looking at a photo from this angle its not too bad.....

I am 5' 5" and fairly chunky. My pony is a 13.3 hh Highland and you can see me riding her in my signature strip pics one and four. My daughter, who is 5' 7" and weighs about 8 stone is riding her in the third pic.
 
I'm 5'6'' and of slim build and ride a 14.2hh.

This is me on another ponio who I think is about 14.1hh?

I am 5'7" and ahem...heavy..
I ride daughters 13.1hh and a friends 13.2hh occasionally..

This is daughter on a 13.3/14hh Riding school pony who she regularly rides: Daughter is 5'7"...
 
OK, takes a deep breath and.....

I'm 6' 1" tall, slim build (ahem) around 190 lbs and I ride a 14.2hh New Forest belonging to my OH. I also ride her other Newfie who is 14.3hh and at the weekend I was on a 15.2 hh ID, which felt plenty big enough thank you!

I'm 5'7" and riding a 13.2hh. She is very chunky so I don't look huge because she takes up my leg. She also has no withers to speak of, if she did she would probs measure about 14.1hh, but the rest of her would be the same, if that makes sense.
 
Im 5'8 and 10.5 stone and I have a 13.3hh fell pony who I do a bit of everything with! He has no problems carrying me and loves his jumping

I'm 5'6 and used to ride a 14hh connemara, but I don't have a pic on this computer. I have also been riding a few arabs over here that are not more than 14.2 at a stretch.

Both seem to cope very well with my weight and height, i jumped them both.
 
I'm 5'9" and am usually 11 1/2 stone (LOL, although I have gorged on chocolate this month from all the Easter chocolate being in the shops and I'm now 12 stone !!! Need to get myself back down for summer though) and I ride Sen, 14.1 Arab mare almost everyday. I ride side saddle and hack out. Sorry no photos as I'm all by my lonesome at the stables and have no one to take my piccy!
