Adults riding welsh ponies - pictures please

Please show me your pics of welsh ponies with adult riders - particualrly welsh c's.

Got my eye on a cute little one - just wondering if i'd look daft in a show ring?? He's 13'3. I'm 5'4 and 8 1/2 stone. I already have a 14.1 pony (welsh x) that seems a good size for me.

Mmm, if he's 13.3 is he not overheight for Section C and into Section D? Certainly my 13.3 Welsh has always been classed as a D because of his height.

This is Friskney Bethan, my old (but soon to be coming back to me ) Welsh Section C (A x C) mare. She was only 12.1hh and the rider in this is about 5'6ft.

Oh really? I don't know anything about showing welshies to be honest! It would just be local shows anyway - so prob M&M classes.

But if he is overheight - do you have to re-register??

13.3 is overheight for a C But many are full up, measure in but are more like 13.3s You really want to be a big C rather than a small D.

This was my 13.1 C, I'm 5'4 and abit heavier than you.
