Adults with ponies - Connemaras vs Welsh D?

No dun fillys :(

But some mild done deal-ing has revealed these:

This might be more of a jumper but here goes:

These were the only colored ones I could find:

Oh here's Dantean, the stallion I was talking about. if you want soundness in an animal something retiring sound after 4000+ miles of riding would seem to fit the bill:

Now you're in the breeding game you should make your own Dantean filly out of a mare of your choice ;)

I'm not sure I'd recommend any of those but there ya go. I need more time....

On question of which is better for dressage, my welshie is hard work, but has fabulous paces when I ask exactly right, but if I'm not with it, she tenses, rushes & looks horrendous.
The Connie is much more obliging but I don't think will ever get above novice level (well not with me riding anyway)

In my opinion Section Ds are more quirky and opinionated but have a lovely movement and will teach you more. Connies are pretty but a bit more pedestrian. Which you get depends what you want from your ride. I'm too tall to ride pure bred natives but love natives x TBs and have a Section D x TB mare who has all the attitude and carriage of a Section D with the added bonus of TB speed and stamina - perfect <3
