Firstly apologies for the spelling!
Secondly I have a TB mare 16.2 quite slight who I would like to send to one of the above breeds next year (should confirmation fit her requirements etc) and i was wondering if anyone had any exerience of the combinations, good or bad (just an idea at present), and if they can recommend any stallions for me to have a look at.
Thanks!

Hi there

I'm an andalusian fan and owner, and I also have a Spanish Norman (Percheron x Andalusian)

My Spanish Norman boy is out of a stallion called Damasco owned by Amanda Tomlinson. You will find his details on the BAPSH website www.bapsh.co.uk (I think thats the web address). My boys confirmation is outstanding as is his temperament etc.

Alternatively the owner of my boys dam has her own stallions now which are of exceptional quality.

Not sure about giving her details out but she regularly posts on this forum under the breeding section as "Silversons". When she posts you will see pics of her boy.

Andalusians are super horses with exceptional nature/temperament and I couldnt recommend them more! My purebred andalusian does absolutely everything, I find them to be versatile competition horses.

Hope this helps.

I cant comment on the other breeds you mentioned

Check out www.bapsh.co.uk this is the website for the British Association, there is a list of stallions on there.

The TB X Andalusian is a popular cross in spain, used primarily for bullfighting (they won't risk their PREs

), if you get a good one, they have the minds of the andalusian with the athleticism of the TB. The cross can go wrong sometimes and you can get what looks like a strung out andy, this is even more apparent if you get a bad lusoxTB.

If your mare is nice and deep with substance, you should get a good sports horse

A stallion I really really like is Averoes III, he has proven himself in affiliated dressage, his first youngsters (pure and partbred) are on the ground now and are stunning and he is exceptionally handsome to boot. I will be sending one of my mares to him next year

I have to echo the above from what i've seen T/b x PRE can be a good combination. Personally would go with Iberian rather than Lippi as confomation of the horses will be better suited.

Thankyou Karen, how's my boy??? loveley pics you sent by the way. xxxx
