Interesting to note this company is offering Worldwide Insurance inc loss of use.

I found only one UK insurer willing to insure me in France and French insurers apart from requiring 10 pages of questions to be completed!!! do not insure for loss of use.

I am still insured with Carriage House as I have been since 1995.

Hmm I saw their Ad on the back of BD magazine & see they offer 10k vet & value up to £2million. Wonder what the premiums are like?

My experience is that insurance generally, and equine insurance specifically, is one big fiddle. They take your premium OK, then when you have to claim through no fault of your own you find out that what you thought was covered, isn't, and then they whack you with having to get your own vets report before they'll even consider paying out, plus of course your compulsory excess!!! Its all one big fiddle ....

If you actually read your policy documents you would know exactly what is and what is not covered.

Dont blame the insurance company for that!
