Adventure Clydesdales on Dartmoor has closed down 😢

Noo, it has been on my bucket list to ride with them for years, and this year was going to be the year. This season was already going to be their last, but very sadly they have had to make the decision to shut with immediate effect.

Though I never got to ride with them, I wish them all the best, it was not an easy decision for them.

I was booked with them for a four day holiday in May, and have just been sent the email.

I am absolutely gutted, as had also been on my bucket list (hadn't realised it was their last year).

How disappointing for you . I hadn't yet booked, I was still mulling over whether to go for a half day or a full day ride.

We have ridden with them several times. Tim and Aileen are lovely people, I wish them well and hope all the horses can be accommodated satisfactorily. I particularly liked Midge.

I only went the once, but was so impressed by this place. Such lovely people who adore their horses. I wish them all well in the future.

Really sad to hear. I was recently riding with a different stables on Exmoor and the owners were saying how sad it was that they were going to shut down. I would have loved to go!

TP it's probably no further up to Cumbria than down to Dartmoor, it's a beautiful area and they have a very good reputation.

I think Midge was retired/rehomed a year or two ago.
